Yes I know, I’m the crazy cat lady

While I know most people don’t find all the stories I have to tell about my cat I must share this one tidbit:

My cat has not quite realized that if he sits on the edge of something and rolls over, he will fall off. This is a lesson he can’t seem to learn as he just keeps falling and falling and falling. I was laying on the couch he was sitting on my back and rolled off. On the other hand I do love how he now lays on the back of the couch and watches the computer screen as I work or – if I’m not at the couch – sitting on my shoulder like a parrot.

My cat rocks.

I got a kitty today!

Everyone meet Pica also known as Pike so the other male kitties don’t make fun of him. He’s a 4-month-old Russian blue that I got from the Spokane Humane Society. He’s adorable, loves to sit on laps, lick fingers and run from the dining room to the study and then back to the dining room.

Other likes are:

• catnip mice
• stepping on my laptop keyboard
• hiding in my closet and
• falling down the side of my bed
• playing with my hair

Dislikes:

• hardwood floors (he has a hard time not sliding around on them)
• glasses of water (he’s knocked over three so far)
• the outdoors
